Well here's the thing. I'm not so up on all the blog technology. It took me forever to figure out how to add my blog link when commenting, I still have a wonky header and I have been hearing about this Bloglovin' switchover thing but I've just kind of ignored it. I guess now is the time to get with the program.
I have to be honest, a link-up inspired my switchover. I guess I just needed some motivation.
Are you stuck in the past like me? Well head over to Tori's Teacher Tips - how's that for alliteration - and join the fun.
And if you have no idea how to do anything with Bloglovin' (ahem . . . me) Tori has a fantastic step-by-step tutorial. She also has a little giveaway to go along with it, if you're into free stuff!

A Little Classroom Decor Addition
I don't know how I missed this before, but I just realized what my classroom decor packs were missing (besides the calendar setup on which I am sllloooowwly working) - a cursive alphabet!

Picture Book Linky Party
I cannot resist books - picture books, chapters books, nonfiction books, I love them all. That is why I am back to the blogging world so soon (2 days, 2 posts = unheard of) - to join a fabulous linky over at First Grade and Fabulous!
So picture books for the first week of school. I blogged about something similar last year, during a different linky (click {HERE} to see that list) but I thought I would come up with some new books for this link-up.
#1 To teach about treating others with kindness, I must include, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud and David Messing.
#2 To teach about the importance of reading, I will have to included, The Incredible Book-Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers.
#3 And just for something cute, If You Take a Mouse to School by Laura Numeroff.
Now I have to say, there are so many more fantastic books that I want to mention about school rules, friendships, bullying, hard word, etc. but I could just go on for ages, so I'll leave it with these three for today. I hope to do some future blog posts around books for these themes, so hopefully I'll get to mention some more then!

4 More Days . . . and a Little Decor
Well the countdown is officially on now with only four more days of school left, Wahoo!
I've been awfully busy since the last time I blogged, and in particular I have been working on some new decor packs for the classroom. I was going to try and wait till the Summer to think about next year, but I guess there's no better time to start!
So far I have 4 different themes available in my store:
Rainbow Chevron:
Pastel Chevron:
Each theme has four packs: Alphabet Posters, Number Posters, Shape & Color Posters and Word Wall Headers & 200 Words.
I've got a ton of more decor pack ideas, now I've just got to wait until I have a little more time on my hands. Click {HERE} if you'd like to check out what I have available. If you have any ideas or suggestions of decor packs you'd like to see, please leave them in the comments!
